This website is a dramaturgical companion to Tale of Black Histories, our (co-authored with Andrew Daily) translation and critical edition of Glissant's Histoire de nègre (1971). The website : houses recordings of the original, traditional Creole songs called for in the script and documents stagings and shares ideas for renewing the play’s intellectual, historical, and activist objectives.
