Gilbert Laumord directed a staged reading of the full translation at the University of Georgia as part of a symposium on the play in February 2017. The staged reading, symposium, and Laumord’s residency were co-sponsored by UGA’s Department of Theatre & Film Studies, the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, the Franklin College Visiting Scholar Program, the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute, the Department of Romance Languages, the African Studies Institute, and the Institute for African American Studies.
